How I use Registax and Nebulosity2 for image processing.

I use two different programs to process the images I take, Registax for webcam video files and Nebulosity2 for CCD images.

Registax is a free downloadable program and there's a link to it on my Free software links page. I've put a guide to using Registax on this site which I explain with the help of screen shots.

Nebulosity2 costs just under £50 although iankingimaging.com gave me a free copy when I bought a scope and camera from them. For the money it's fantastic, I've only scratched the surface with it and have produced some reasonable results with only a few minutes of processing. In the right hands I'm sure it's an extremely capable piece of software, although far more expensive programs such as Maxim DL are probably better if you've got the money.
